My name is Lachlan Ker, owner and chief videographer at Expedite Productions.

How can I say it? Well, I’m kind of passionate about film. I will admit, I can be a little intense about it at times, however in a business setting that always accrues to the client. Frankly I wouldn’t have it any other way.

For better or worse, when I was little (in the ’70’s and ’80’s) I spent spent unhealthful quanitites of time in front of the TV. I think it became my defacto mental environment. Then came Star Wars (seen 13 times in the theatre) and Raiders Of The Lost Ark (seen 19 times in the theatre). I am an unabashed, unapologetic movie buff. I love movies.

I have a little experience on the periphery of feature films (Paradise Road) and made a few of my own productions (The French Connection Is Not A Fellini Film), but over the years I have found my real calling is creating unique productions for individual and corporate clients focusing on the unique requirements of the project in front of them.

I love cameras, I love all the equipment. For me there is all the romance and history of cinema I am stepping into when I set up my equipment. I am inspired every time I do it and try to pull the muse down into my work so I can share with my clients some of that which I love so much, and in doing so create a work product of the highest quality.

And this is where I am today. I have recently upgraded my cameras and projection unit to 4K technology which, for all intents and purposes just means pristine crystal clear high-definition resolution on the screen. I invite you to view Our Latest Projects to get a feel for what I mean.
